I thought the earth remembered me, she took me back so tenderly, arranging
her dark skirts, her pockets full of lichens and seeds. I slept
as never before, a stone on the riverbed, nothing
between me and the white fire of the stars but my thoughts, and they floated
light as moths among the branches of the perfect trees. All night I heard the small kingdoms
breathing around me, the insects, and the birds who do their work in the darkness.
All night I rose and fell, as if in water, grappling
with a luminous doom. By morning I had vanished at least a dozen times into something better.
Fall is the perfect time for a yoga and meditation retreat. Take cues from nature and begin to let go from stress and tension. Join us in the Tennessee mountains to refuel with yoga, meditation and time to be still - to renew and rejuvenate your whole “self.” You will return home with a foundation in a healthy yogic lifestyle, the power to minimize toxic intake from outside influences to support the body’s process of healing, and the ability to lead a more balanced life. This retreat highlights the healing power of nature as it involves silent and contemplative walks in the beautiful mountains with the changing leaves.
This 3-day Fall Yoga and Meditation Retreat will include Gentle, Restorative and Yin Yoga. You will learn breathing techniques and will enjoy guided meditations including Yoga Nidra. We will have daily silent hikes and delicious, nutritious meals.
