Hatha is the most widely practiced form of yoga in the world. Hatha Yoga uses postures (asana) and conscious breathing (Pranayama) in combination with mental focus to develop awareness, strength and flexibility, and relaxation. Through proper alignment and mindful actions of the body, Hatha Yoga brings balance, strength, and a sense of well-being to the practitioner. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This therapeutic practice that incorporates the principles of Chinese medicine and meridian theory. This class is all about long holds ( 5 minutes ) and deep stretching.
Slower paced and with a range of modifications to make the poses progressively more accessible. Yoga can help reduce stress, improve circulation, build community connections and address challenges that result from chronic health conditions such as arthritis, heart disease, osteoporosis and fibromyalgia.

Restorative yoga provides healing for your body and mind. The poses help us learn to relax and rest deeply and completely. Props are used to support your body so you can hold poses for a longer period of time, allowing your body to open through passive stretching. This class includes:

Yoga was originally designed to strengthen the bodies of monks so they could sit for long periods in meditation. Yoga’s true promise is to “quiet the mind.” The incredible benefits of a meditation practice, including reduced stress, better concentration, a strengthened immune system, and inner peace. Meditation types offered are led meditation, grief meditation, chakra meditation and spirit guide meditation.
Vinyasa (also called Flow) classes maintain awareness and focus on the breath while moving through a series of postures. This style of yoga builds heat, flexibility and strength, while maintaining focus on good alignment and sound structure. Postures may be held for longer periods of time, and will flow together to unite the body to the breath and mind. Classes range from beginner to intermediate.
This is for an experienced yoga student that is wanting to get more from their class. An invigorating and ever-evolving class that will expand your knowledge of yoga postures and how your body moves. This all-levels class has inventive and thoughtful sequences of sun salutations, standing and seated postures, back bending, and inversions guided by a steady breath to tone and calm the mind.
THERAPEUTIC YIN YOGA
Ideal for those with physical limitations from illness or injury like back and/or hip problems, arthritis, sedentary lifestyles etc... These classes delve into the musculo-skeletal system, teaching you how to care for your physical body so that you can enjoy living the life you imagined! Class is slow paced with great attention given to the function and understanding of the spine and body. Restorative postures, pranayama (breathing), and meditation will all be explored to calm the nervous system and free the mind. Gentle enough for all persons. All of these poses are held from 5-20 minutes on bolsters. Very restorative and healing.

Prenatal Yoga is a safe and gentle class for women to attend throughout their pregnancy. Women will learn specific yoga poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques designed to relieve the physical and emotional discomforts that occur during pregnancy, and to prepare them, body, mind, and spirit, to give birth. Prenatal Yoga will benefit you through all stages of your pregnancy. If you currently have a regular yoga practice, you can feel free to continue that practice until your second trimester.
Incorporates Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. Begin by heating the body through a flow of Sun Salutations. We will then transition to a deliciously deep and mindful practice. Yin Yoga is known as the "Fountain of Youth Practice” in which floor-based postures are held for 3-5 minutes, this allows the body to slowly unwind and goes deep into the connective tissue. You might find yourself feeling ‘lifted’ and ‘light’ after a Yin Yoga class.
